# 1.8.7b4 acceptance

## Candidate verification

- 10,848 offline tests passed, 30 skipped, using the release marker selection and four workers.
- 60 Wiki CLI tests passed with forced ANSI color; the full suite verifies plain output as well.
- 13 clean-wheel installation tests passed.
- uv lock check, wheel/sdist metadata checks and release visual manifest passed.
- Docs lint passed with 162 existing warnings, blog checks passed, production build passed using the supported webpack option (the local shared node_modules symlink prevents Turbopack), and generated blog metadata/build checks passed.
- Fixed ANSI-insensitive help assertions, a stale model example, and SSH test fixtures that had retained a real-home constant.

The first sandboxed full-suite attempt failed on socket permissions and exposed
the SSH fixture issue. It was retained as a failed attempt; after correction the
suite ran with loopback access and passed. No production credentials or keys
were generated by the corrected fixtures.

## Publication and installed package

The immutable tag points to `0214b2f3bf5e19f9915078b8acfde57c1b6c231a`.

completed successfully, including the supported platform/Python matrix, artifact
build, clean-wheel checks, Trusted Publishing, public package installation and
byte-for-byte verification of public artifacts.

[PyPI 1.8.7b4](https://pypi.org/project/connectonion/1.8.7b4/) and
[GitHub prerelease](https://github.com/openonion/connectonion/releases/tag/v1.8.7b4)
are public. GitHub marks b4 as a prerelease; stable remains 1.8.6.

Installed the exact public pin into the user's existing Python 3.14 user site.
`co --version` reports 1.8.7b4. All 10 installed CLI acceptance cases passed,
including help, actual page discovery, listing, reading, search, missing-page
recovery, human status, JSON status, and initialization with disconnected
synthetic adapters and a preserved Skill source snapshot. The same cases had
also passed in an isolated candidate-wheel environment before publication.

The existing co wrapper's SHA-256 is unchanged. A separate read-only discovery
check against the existing notebook passed and returned a next command naming
an actual page. Its private page listing is not included in this record.
No real mailbox, background schedule or investigation was started.
